To better serve the Canadian market, St. Croix Sensory opened its first international odour laboratory in Toronto, Canada in February 2023.
St. Croix Sensory – Canada , is a third-party odour laboratory, dedicated to providing quality odour data and exceptional customer service to our Canadian clients. The laboratory offers a full range of olfactory evaluations, including thresholds, characterization, intensity and persistency values.
The Extended test is a three part test kit for detailed assessment of a patient’s olfactory capability.
The threshold test provides a measure of odour sensitivity to the standard odourant. This test is analogous to a hearing test to find how quiet of a sound a person can hear.
The discrimination test investigates if a patient can select an odour odour from a triad of two pens with the same odour and one pen with a second odour.
The identification test confirms the patient can identify odours either with free response or through section from multiple choice score card,.
The Extended Test provides a more detailed examination of the patient’s olfactory sense than the Screening 12 test. This test is intended for clinical use.

The conversation about air quality in Spain has taken an unexpected and refreshingly human turn. Instead of focusing solely on regulatory limits and mathematical dispersion models, Spain is increasingly asking a simpler question: What does the air actually smell like where people live?
